DRONESHWAR MAHADEV

Today I will tell you about a place which looks like it would be a movie scene. The name of place Droneshwar Mahadev Temple, located in Girgadhada, Gujarat. It is situated on the border of Amreli district and on the bank of the Michchhundru river. 

From the name of Droneshwar Mahadev, you can guess there will be a temple of Mahadev. The locals believe that temple was founded by Guru Drona in the Mahabharata era. The Pandavas came here during their Agyaat vaas and with their power the Ganga was revealed here. The Ganga is naturally waterlogged on the Mahadev. 

Many researches had been made to find out the cause of naturally occurring water logging on Mahadev but the cause has not been found. The specialty of this temple is that non-stop water flow naturally falls on Shivling. The nearest flowing river is Michchhundri river. There is also a dam. The water flows from this dam.

The best season to visit this place is monsoon season. Because the scene of the dam overflowing it seems to have been seen in the Bahubali movie. And you can also see it in the picture I uploaded. During the month of Shravan, many people come to visit Mahadev temple. The natural environment is also awesome. So you must also visit this place.
